SINGLE VIEW, DUAL VIEW AND SD PVR ONLY (VERSION 8) – EXLUDES SINGLE VIEW HD

These settings will only work on Single View, Dual View and SD PVR decoders.

  1. With your DSTV remote,
    Press the MENU button
    Scroll down with the down arrow to “Advanced Options” and press “OK”
    Select item 1 “Dish Installation” and press “OK”
    New screen will prompt for a Pin Code – enter 9949 with the keypad on your DSTV remote
  2. The “Dish Installation” screen will now be displayed.
    Scroll to Network 2 which shows “Disabled”
    Press right arrow to change that to “DSTV IS20”
    Press “OK” to display a new screen giving details of the Network 2
    Scroll down to “Frequency”, press “OK”
    Using the left arrow, delete the displayed frequency and replace with 11210, using the keypad on the remote
    Press “OK”
    Scroll down to “Symbol Rate”, press “OK”
    Using the left arrow, delete the displayed Symbol rate and replace with 30000
    Press “OK”
    Go to “Use NIT” and by pressing the right arrow change this to “SMATV”
    Go down to “Accept all displayed values and leave screen”. Press “OK”
  3. The “Dish Installation” screen will again be displayed.
    Repeat step 2 above for each Network 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 with the following changes:
